Welcome to PocketShelf! Adding books to your digital library is the first step toward tracking your reading journey. This guide shows you how to add your first book by either scanning its barcode or searching for it by title. For the best experience, try scanning or entering the ISBN of your book, if you have one. This will give you the most accurate information about the book that you are reading”.

From the main library screen, tap the Plus (+) icon in the top right corner to open the Add Book screen.

To add a physical book quickly, tap the barcode scanner icon and point your device's camera at the ISBN barcode on the book.

Alternatively, type the book's title or author into the Search for a book's name or ISBN field and tap the search icon.

Once the app finds your book, tap on the correct entry from the results list to view its details.

On the book details screen, you can optionally adjust information such as its Format (e.g., Physical Book, eBook) and Reading Status (e.g., To Read, Currently Reading).

When you're ready, tap the Checkmark icon at the top right of the screen to save the book to your library.
